Wild Times: Back to Nature - Making Fire - Summer holiday bushcraft sessions for the National Trust @ Attingham Park
Attingham Park National Trust Estate, Shrewsbury, United Kingdom
..want something exciting and engaging for the children to do during the Summer holidays? Want them to put the screen down for 5 minutes? Then bring them to Attingham Park where we'll be running some awesome sessions!
Get them to leave the technology behind and join WildLife Survival School for an hour of fun. They won't just be learning some new bushcraft skills, they'll be getting their hands dirty putting them into practice. It's an amazing opportunity to find out some of the incredible things we can do with the natural materials all around us.
This week we'll be learning how to make fire by almost every means possible (except for matches). We'll be using fire steels, bow drills & hand drills, fire pistons and a whole lot more!
Bring them for one session and they can claim a bronze WildLife Survival School pin badge. Bring them to two for a silver one. If they make it to 3 or more they'll get a gold one to show off their skills.
Suitable for ages 5-11 years old.
Tickets must be pre-booked and standard National Trust admission charges apply.
