There's nothing more exciting than working with natural materials and simple hand tools, to create something unique and useful.

Come and join us in the Meadow Barn in Comer Woods - part of the Dudmaston National Trust Estate for a workshop where you'll learn the art of basketry. In this introductory session we'll be using a variety of natural materials that we'll bend, weave and shape into all manner of items. We'll make some decorative pieces (flowers, dragonflies, hearts) as well as platters and trivets.

No previous experience is required, and all the tools and materials you need will be provided. The group will be limited to 10 participants so that everyone has individual attention, and is able to have the best chance of taking something away that they're really proud of.

This event is strictly for adults only (18+) and is subject to parking charges in the National Trust carpark at Comer Woods (free for National Trust Members).
